No Foolish Misuse
Today is a world of
industrialization and technological advancement. The modern day is
characterized by dynamism, hyper-competition and technological sophistication.
There has been a huge progress in Nepal on the field of communication technology
as compared to some last decades. Whereas new technology has sky rocketed in
many countries throughout the world, Nepal is still in its early stages.
Creative persons and
their creative mind should be praised for all of these great achievements and
great inventions. Every great invention, every work of art, every new
innovation all starts with a thought. Thoughts are the most important and
powerful forces in universe. So with the right thoughts and right forces we can
achieve anything that we want to do in life.
As we can see that there has been rise of social networks, search
engines, online communities and blogs like Facebook, Imesh, Yahoo, AIM, Orkut,
Ebuddy, Mig, Gmail, Msn, Youtube etc. They all are the new opportunity for us
to utilize it properly but we shouldn’t forget that with new opportunities come
new challenges. If I could use one word to describe the new technological
revolution, I would say, ‘experiment’. The world of new technology is
characterised by intense, continious, almost hyperactive experiments.
Experiments about what ? Eveything. The
service we are using nowadays llke 3G call service, E-Banking, GPS and GSM
service these all are the results of the experiments. No matter how far we go,
if we have a Laptop, iphone or a simple internet supporting mobile phone then
we can simply type a keyword into Google’s search engine and we are bound to
find a list of conversation and experiments happening on just that topic. Not
only this we can also simply have a chat with our friends, Share picture and
videos with our family, relatives and other people through online communities.
We must tap into these services by joining social networks and blogs and invite
others to join in our conversation, www.akalayouthclub.blogspot.com is an example of a blog of our locality. I think our nation can do
more progress in this sector but the country’s political scenario is still
unstable hence we cannot expect the assurance unless the politicians decide to
stop fighting for chairs and start working for what they are paid and elected
for.
So, the expectation from the government we can do is at one side and the
next expectation lies on we youths who are known as the pillars of the nation.
We youths carry our dreams and have a desire to fulfill it. From my personal
experience, I have learnt that our dreams will not be achieved unless our
perception and beliefs about our own capabilities either match or have expanded
with our vision. The reality is if we can dream it, we have the potential
inside us to achieve it. If you are finding a mismatch between your dreams and
your view of your potential then have a
conversation with your parents or you can have a chat on online with a
professional coach, counselor or healer to help you take a step into who you
can be. So start your planning for your bright future with this new
technological revolution. Dream big, plan big and you will surprise yourself with
the results you will achieve. But please don’t let it be a foolish misuse!
